Privacy Policy

1. General

This Policy describes how personal data of getgotcha.ru (the “Site”) visitors is processed, in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 “On Personal Data”.

The operator’s processing of personal data is covered by a notification filed with Roskomnadzor (registration number 102306/77 dated 01.07.2026).

By using the Site you confirm your agreement with this Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the Site.

2. What data is processed

The Site is static — there are no sign-up forms or user accounts. We process:

• Web-analytics data (Yandex.Metrica): cookies, IP address, browser and device information, referrer, on-page actions. Collected only after your consent (see §5).
• Web server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page or file, the response code, the referring page (Referer) and the browser’s User-Agent string. The hosting provider keeps these logs for every request to the Site; no cookies are used for this (see §5).
• Contact data: if you email us at the address provided (including the “Ask about Cloud” button) — your email address and message content.

Special categories and biometric personal data are not processed.

3. Purposes

• measuring traffic and improving the Site;
• keeping the Site running and secure;
• responding to enquiries;
• notifying you about the cloud version launch (at your request).

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the data subject’s consent (art. 6 of 152-FZ), given through actions on the Site (accepting the cookie banner, sending an email).

Web server logs are processed in the operator’s legitimate interests — keeping the Site running and secure and counting traffic in anonymised aggregate form (art. 6(1)(7) of 152-FZ): no cookies are set and no visitor profiles are built.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and Yandex.Metrica (operator — Yandex LLC). The analytics script loads only after you click “Accept” in the consent banner. If you click “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set.

The Site also uses the Yandex.Metrica session-recording technology (Webvisor); it too loads only after your consent. You can withdraw consent by clearing the site’s data in your browser (localStorage and cookies) or blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Regardless of your choice in the banner, the Site’s traffic is counted from the web server logs (see §2): page views and visitors per day, popular pages and referring sources. Only the resulting totals are kept — IP addresses and User-Agent strings are not carried into the statistics or stored separately, and visitors are not linked across separate counts.

6. Third parties and data localization

Web-analytics data is processed by Yandex LLC as a processor within the Yandex.Metrica service; processing and storage take place on servers located in the Russian Federation (art. 18(5) of 152-FZ). Web server logs are kept by the Site’s hosting provider (REG.RU) on servers located in the Russian Federation. No cross-border transfer of personal data is performed. Personal data is not transferred to other third parties except as required by Russian law.

7. Retention

Personal data is processed no longer than the purposes require and until consent is withdrawn. Enquiry data is kept for up to 1 (one) year after the last interaction. Yandex.Metrica data is retained per the service’s policy. Web server logs are kept for 10 (ten) days and then deleted automatically; aggregate traffic statistics contain no personal data.

8. Your rights

Under art. 14 of 152-FZ you may: obtain information about the processing of your data, request its correction, blocking or deletion, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@otezvikentiy.tech. We respond within the statutory time limits.

9. Changes

The operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always available at getgotcha.ru/en/privacy/.
